Two People Shot At Woody’s In Cedar Rapids

It looks like there was more then lap dances and beer drinking going on at a local strip club Saturday night.

According to The Cedar Rapids Gazette, "Two people were shot Sunday morning in the parking lot of Woody's Show Club." Woody's is located at 9395 6th Street SW in Cedar Rapids.

Police were called to the club to investigate a "shots fired" call Sunday morning around 4:20 a.m. When police arrived, they discovered two victims that had non-threatening injuries.

At this time there are no other details on the shooting. We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more details.

I know the owners of Woody's and they are both great guys. Brian and Justin run a good business and this is in no way a reflection of their character. They have always had top notch security at the club, and I'm sure after this incident they will be adding more.
