Well, here we go again. It's Monday morning in Cedar Rapids and we start the week off with news of another shooting here in our great city.

According to KCRG TV 9, "Cedar Rapids police said a shooting injured one person on Sunday night."

The story said that the victim went to a local hospital after being shot. There were a few Cedar Rapids police officers at the hospital for an unrelated call and they spoke with the victim.

After a short interview, officers determined the shooting happened in the 100 block of Park Court Southeast in Cedar Rapids. Officers left the hospital and the victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The victims name has not been released at this time.

The shooting is now under investigation by the Cedar Rapids police department. There have been no arrests made but the investigation will continue. We will follow this story and provide updates as soon as more information is released.
