Shooting In Cedar Rapids

It looks like authorities had a busy weekend here in Cedar Rapids.

According to CBS2, "Cedar Rapids Police were on the scene of a shooting."

The incident happened on Saturday evening around 5 p.m. Police were called to the 2000 block of Bever Avenue on the Southwest side of Cedar Rapids.

The report said there was one person wounded from the shooting. The person's injuries were said to be "non-life threatening." The individual's name has not been released at this time.

CRPD are now collecting evidence and will continue to investigate the incident. We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as more information is released.
