Intoxicated Man Arrested While Trying to ‘Zombie Hunt’

Halloween is just a few weeks away. This time of year we often hear wacky stories of people doing crazy things. We have a good one today!

A 24-year-old guy named Ryan Stanislaw was walking around North St. Paul, Minnesota around 5:00 A.M. on Saturday. He was drunk, he had his gun, and he was out hunting zombies. This all seems pretty normal to me. I'm guessing he was drinking Grain Belt or Old Milwaukee beer.

That's right, this guy was hunting zombies. We live in a very strange world. This story is not a joke. I repeat, this story is real.

According to WCCO Television, the man had his AR-15 rifle filled with green-tipped bullets that are MARKETED as zombie killing bullets.

WCCO reported that Stainslaw, who allegedly smelled like alcohol, told police “I’m out here making sure my neighborhood is safe,” “I didn’t see the cops, so I figured I’d do something.” It's also reported that Stanislaw told police that he was shooting at “a zombie” up the road. Stainslaw has been arrested for allegedly fired a bullet meant to take out the zombie and almost hit a man sleeping in his home.

Stanislaw was arrested for hunting zombies without a permit (that part I made up).

But maybe this guy isn't crazy. What if there really are zombies up in Minnesota? I actually grew up in that area. Some of my ex-girlfriends acted a little bit like zombies. At least when we, well, forget I said that.  GO VIKINGS!
