Iowa's News Now reports the two men knew each other, though the Iowa Department of Public Safety says "the exact nature of their relationship is under investigation." According to the Prestage Foods website, the Eagle Grove pork processing plant employs more than 900.

This is the second time in the last two weeks Eagle Grove has been in the news, for very different reasons. Last week, I shared the story of Heather Kimbrough of Eagle Grove. In just over a month, she'll be undergoing surgery to have one of her kidneys removed and donated to a 22-month-old boy she's never met. The toddler has no kidney function and is on dialysis for 12 hours each day. You can read the full story HERE.
