What Isn't Open In Malibu Jack's
Really at this point, it's mostly all open. About the only thing you can't do yet is book group parties and birthday parties. This will be a very popular place for kids' birthday parties so once that opens up you'll need to get in on it quickly!
The only thing our reviewer said was that it didn't seem the bar and restaurant were open. But that could have been just the time of day they were there.
A Parent's Review of Malibu Jack's
With a lot of entertainment options in the Quad Cities and dollars limited, is Malibu Jack's a place worth checking out? An unbiased listener took her 10-year-old there for her birthday and gave it a great review.
Nikki said, "It's a really fun, cool place for kids and teens and even parents. I usually don't indulge in those things and just let my kid do whatever. But that racecar thing I was on was omg so much fun. My daughter really liked the virtual reality games and I appreciated that there was something for everybody. Adults, teens, toddlers, the whole family can have fun there."
So it's a good time, but will you need to take out a loan to have a good time? Nikki said the prices are "fair" as she expected them to be worse than what they are.
Protip from Nikki, "If you spend a lot you get more back in free play.". The Play Cards, as Malibu Jack's calls them, can be loaded with dollars to spend around the park. Spend $20, and get a $2 bonus. Spend $100 get $30 bonus.
There you go. An honest review from an awesome parent who had a great birthday with their child. It sounds like a great new place for the Quad Cities. For now, it might still be a hidden gem that isn't super busy. But as more reviews like this come out more people will be there for all the fun and games.
