What Jaymz Likes Most About Hosting The KRNA Morning Show

The new 94.1 KRNA morning show is off and running! It's been almost two weeks and things are running smooth as silk. It's so rewarding to come to work everyday and play music, tell jokes and interact with the listeners here in Iowa.

I thought I would struggle with the early morning wake-up call. So far, it's been no problem waking up before the chickens and roosters. It's fun watching the sun come up in the studio while drinking delicious Casey's General Store coffee.

My producer Mike has been a huge help. He's only made 127 mistakes but who's counting. We all have erasers on our pencils, his eraser is just extra LARGE. God bless you my friend.

The most rewarding part of the job is hearing from the loyal listeners. We've had dozens of positive phone calls about the new format change.This means a lot to me and I want to thank each and every one of you. We have our radio station back.....and it feels pretty darn good.

We now have a text number here at 94.1 KRNA Hit us up at 319-383-0094. It's 2016 and most of us don't use the phone as a phone. Send a text, we will respond...or we won't. It's fun either way.
