The American Red Cross, the United Way, and the 2016 Flood of Cedar Rapids Facebook Page are places for information on how to help.

At the end of today's press conference at City Hall, Cedar Rapids Mayor asked the city council to declare a state of emergency as the impending flood could top 24 feet by Monday evening.

Volunteers are needed for sandbagging, as the National Weather Service predicts a 24.1 foot cresting of the Cedar River on Monday.

The flooding situation in Johnson County is worsening, very quickly.  Jim Stiman of the US Army Corps of Engineers Rock Island District has notified officials that current projections may exceed 712 feet and go over the spillway

The search for 17-year-old Logan Blake has come to a tragic end. The body of the teen was recovered from Cedar Lake just before 4:00 p.m. on July 1.

Now that the storms have passed residents are faced with cleaning up the aftermath.

Just as the city was trying to get back to normal after last night's torrential downpour, which caused flooding and damage, mother nature throws a second round at us, with even more severe consequences. Here's what we know so far.
