According to KCRG, "A shooting at a gas station in Dubuque required hospitalization for the victim, according to law enforcement officials."

The incident happened around 1 a.m. on Sunday, February 23rd. Police were called to the Kwik Shop on University Avenue for a report of shots fired. When they arrived, they determined a 21-year-old man had been shot in the neck.

The victim was taken to a local hospital in Dubuque and later transferred to Iowa City. His injuries were listed as non-life threatening.

Authorities did not release the name of the shooting victim at this time. We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more information.
