Play A Round Of Golf In Downtown Cedar Rapids
You've heard me say before, my two favorite things in life are drinking and golf. On April 26th, those two activities are coming together in a way I've never seen before! Foundation 2 Crisis Services is debuting a new event in downtown Cedar Rapids. It's called Putts for Prevention!
Nine downtown Cedar Rapids bars and restaurants are hosting their own unique putt-putt hole in this traveling nine hole course. You stop at each location, play the hole and enjoy a beverage. It sounds like so much fun!
Not only will I be playing with three of my buddies, my bar Jimmy Z's will also be hosting a hole! We've got some really cool obstacles planned, so I hope you can join us! It will be a blast and all of the proceeds go to a great cause. The event will start at noon on Friday, April 26th.
The other downtown bars include Hazard County, Pub 217, Grin N Goose, The Rock Bar, NEED Pizza, and The Early Bird, Osgoods and Iowa Brewing Company. Registration is $200 per foursome and you can sign up here.
So, grab your coworkers or a group of friends and sign up for a foursome before they’re gone. Plus, you can feel good about your ticket purchase because it will support Foundation 2 Crisis Services in their mission to be a resource for people in crisis during difficult times. Foundation 2 Crisis Services emphasize their work in suicide prevention and crisis intervention.
