Major Crash On I-380 In Cedar Rapids

According to CBS2, "Cedar Rapids police now say two people have serious injuries after an early morning crash in the northbound lanes of I-380 in Cedar Rapids."

The incident happened right around 6:30 a.m. in the northbound lanes of I-380. When officers arrived, they found a rolled-over vehicle with two people inside.The crash happened not far from the Diagonal Drive exit.

Both the driver and the passenger had to be transported to local hospitals. There were no other injuries to report at this time.

We received several calls here at the station about how bad traffic was backed up. The road has now been cleared and traffic is moving at a normal pace.

The crash is under investigation by local authorities. We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as more information is released.
