Iowa Football Starts In 111 Days!

Iowa's first football game will be played on Saturday, September 1st. That means we are just 111 days away....but who's counting. I'm sorry, I've just had the itch for some football lately. I can't wait for the season to start!

The team will kick-off the season at home with a game against Northern Illinois. Big Ten play starts a few weeks later, at home against Wisconsin. Looking at the 2018 schedule, things won't be easy for our Hawkeyes, but I predict a good season for the team this year.

What made me write this blog was the song I just heard on 94.1 KRNA. It was "Back in Black," by AC/DC. Whenever I hear the song, I get goose bumps thinking of Kinnick Stadium before every home game. It's turned into our Iowa anthem....and we love it!
