Hug An Eastern Iowa Veteran This Weekend

On Monday, November 11th, we celebrate Veterans Day. It a day to thank to the brave men and women that served this country and give them the recognition they so rightfully deserve.

But if you ask me, one day really isn't enough. Think of what these people did for us and our families. We live in the greatest country in the world, The United States of America....and we owe our freedom to the Veterans of this country.

If see a Veteran this weekend, give them a hug or shake their hand. Tell them thanks for everything they did and how much we appreciate their service to our country. It doesn't have to be on Monday, do it today!

I love that we dedicate a day for our Vets, but I wish we could do more.

After all, we owe them so much.
