High Speed Chase In Waterloo

According to KWWL, "A man is in custody after leading Waterloo Police on a brief chase Sunday afternoon."

The incident happened on U.S. 218 near the George Wyth State Park. The driver, Thein Maung, was involved in an accident and fled the scene. That's what led police on a short chase.

Maung was eventually stopped and arrested. He's charged with eluding and possession of marijuana. There were no injuries to report and Maung was the only person in the vehicle.

I never understood people that try to outrun the police. I mean, does it ever work? It's seems almost impossible, yet people try it all the time. I just don't get it!

Either way, this guy is a bunch of trouble and he better get a good lawyer.
