The weather is nice, so the crazies are out again, folks.

According to KCRG, "A man is charged with theft after he left Cedar Rapids police on a short pursuit Sunday morning."

The incident happened at around 4 a.m. on 22nd Avenue and 2nd Street in Cedar Rapids. Police attempted to pull over a vehicle but the driver was having nothing to do with it.

The person behind the wheel refused to get out of the car and drove away. At that point, police chased him all the way to 33rd avenue. That's where the vehicle went off the road and the driver ran on foot.

When police caught up with the suspect, they determined the trailer had been stolen from Scott county. The person, who was not named, will now face a laundry list of charges.

This guy is in some trouble, he better hire a good attorney.

Is Matlock still practicing?
