Former Howard Stern Show Star To Perform In Cedar Rapids
Stuttering John Melendez is back in Iowa this weekend for two shows at Penguin's Comedy Club. It's always a party when Melendez comes to town, and you can expect to laugh your ass off if you see his performance. Both shows start at 8 p.m., and tickets are available at this link.
Melendez is best known for his time with on the Howard Stern Show. He spent 15 years with Stern before leaving to become the announcer for Jay Leno. These days, Melendez is touring the country on the stand-up circuit, and that's what brings him to Cedar Rapids.
Stuttering John has two shows this Friday & Saturday at Penguins in downtown Cedar Rapids. Local comedian Tim Sullivan will be opening both nights, and the shows will start at 8 p.m.
I plan to attend the Saturday night show. I saw him last year when he was in town and the show was really funny. If you make it to the club, stop by our table and say hello!
