Waterloo’s Top Cop Donates Kidney To Outlaw

An amazing story to report today from Waterloo, where Police Chief Dan Trelka recently underwent successful surgery to donate one of his kidneys.

According to KWWL, Chief Trelka posted a picture to his Facebook yesterday, saying, "Now I have a new lifelong friend."

This new friend happens to be named "Outlaw"

"Jimmy Outlaw" to be exact. Yep, that's his real name!

Jimmy's last name makes this story even more of a hoot!

I could hardly wait to write the headline "COP DONATES KIDNEY TO OUTLAW"

All kidding aside, donating a kidney is an act of nobility, compassion and love.
