One day after Defensive End AJ Epenesa declared his intent to leave the University Iowa football program, forgoing his senior season to enter the NFL Draft, two more Hawkeyes are doing the same.

KCRG reports that Tristan Wirfs is making the decision to turn pro. The Mt. Vernon native and offensive lineman said in a social media post:

My time at Iowa has been amazing and I couldn't be more proud to represent my home state of Iowa and to wear the black and gold and swarm out in front of 70,000 fans in Kinnick Stadium

Iowa City Press-Citizen says redshirt junior Toren Young will give up his fifth year of eligibility to join the NFL as well.

Hawkeye Nation, After long thoughts, prayers and time spent with family, I have decided that at this time I will forgo my fifth year at the University of Iowa and will shift my focus to, first and foremost, graduating this spring, training, and preparing for my professional life both on and off of the field

The exit of Young was not entirely unexpected after Tyler Goodson emerged as the starting RB.
