The Pork Tornadoes Postpone Cedar Rapids Concert
2020 continues to be the year of cancellations and unfortunately, we have another one that needs to be added to the list.
The Pork Tornadoes have postponed their September 25th concert at the McGrath Amphitheater until next year. The show was originally booked for June of 2020, but because of COVID-19, the band postponed until September 25th.
With everything going on with the pandemic and now the storm that rolled through town, the Pork T's have decided to forget about 2020. The fellas announced on their Facebook page that the concert has once again been postponed. This time, until July 31st of 2021.
I was really looking forward to the concert and it sucks we won't be able to attend this year. But this news comes as no surprise, pretty much everything is getting cancelled and moved into 2021.
We will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as more information is released. To follow the Pork's T's Facebook page, you can visit this link.
I am planning to have Mike Schulte, the drummer of the Pork Tornadoes, on The KRNA Morning show sometime in the next couple of weeks. Stay tuned for details of his appearance on the program.
Stay tuned and cross your fingers that live music will return soon to Eastern Iowa!
