Classic Rock Legend’s Farewell Tour Comes to Cedar Rapids
Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist Peter Frampton will bring his Farewell Tour to McGrath Amphitheater Monday July 29.
Peter Frampton is a classic rock legend. He starting playing guitar at a young age and joined his first band at age 12. He first tasted fame as a young member of the band The Heard and by age 18 had formed the band Humble Pie before going solo in early 1970's.
Following the release of "Frampton Comes Alive" in early 1976, Peter became an international superstar, and sold millions of albums.
Now he is saying farewell to touring with a show in Cedar Rapids July 29. Tickets for the concert will go on sale Friday March 1, at 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Cell Center box office.
