AC/DC are an Australian rock band that was formed in 1973. According to Wikipedia, the band has sold over 200 million records.

"Back in Black" is a song by AC/DC that appears as the first track on side two of their 1980 album according to Wikipedia. The song is known for it's opening riff....and it's a song that gets plenty of airplay here at 94.1 KRNA.

"Back in Black" is a worldwide hit. But here in Iowa, we associate the song with Hawkeye Football. Anyone who has attended an Iowa football game knows this. Before the team hits the field, the video screens cut to the players walking down the tunnel from their locker room, while the monster guitar riffs fill the stadium. It's like a rock concert. I get goose bumps every time I'm at a game!

It's hard to put this experience into words and pictures. You need to see it for yourself. Every time I hear "Back in Black," I think of Iowa Football...and it always puts a smile on my face.

Last week, I had field pass for the Iowa Hawkeye football game against Northwestern. Let's not talk about the outcome. Instead, take a look at my cell phone video I shot. It captures "The Iowa Swarm" in all it's beauty. Here's the link:
