Two days of unseasonably mild weather will allow for the Trashmore and Overlook trails to be open and usable.

Mt. Thrashmore Overlook trails have suffered rain erosion and will close until next week.

The new Mt. Trashmore park and trail system that was set to open earlier this month, has been pushed back temporarily.

The new park is scheduled to open in late June

As "majestic" as Mt. Trashmore is, this is the time of year where small mountains appear nearly everywhere.
