You Can Support Iowa Farmers By Drinking Beer
This spring, you can enjoy a nice cold beer while supporting farmers.
Busch Light and John Deere have partnered with Farm Rescue to raise money for farmers in crisis. For every case of Busch Light sold, companies will donate $1.
The organization offers services to farm families in Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, Montana, Minnesota, Nebraska, and Kansas.
The cans are expected to debut this spring although no date has been released yet.

Beer Helping Agriculture Is Not A New Thing
Beer and Agriculture have had strong roots dating back thousands of years, so it would make sense that ag groups such as Farm Rescue do partner with beer companies. And Busch is no exception to this.
Back in 2019, Busch Beer took to Twitter to raise funds for the organization. The company said in a Tweet that they would donate $5 for every retweet that post got that day.
A report by Ag Week which was written just days after the Tweet says that the tweet had 41,000 Retweets.
In May 2020, the Busch launched its corn cans with the same purpose. For every limited-edition corn case sold between May and July, up to $100,000, was donated to Farm Rescue. They also took this effort a step further by launching their #ForTheFarmers campaign which moved advertisements from billboards in cities to structures owned by farmers.
Busch has said that they plan to partner with farmers into the foreseeable future.
If you are a farmer or rancher in need of assistance, be sure to apply for assistance on Farm Rescue's website.
