Sip Cider & Shop Local Businesses at the Cedar Rapids Cider Stroll
Friday the 13th isn't spooky when there's shopping and apple cider involved! Next Friday night, take a trip over to the NewBo and Czech Village districts for the annual Cider Stroll!
The Cider Stroll is a fun shopping event in Cedar Rapids where participants can support local business while enjoying free fall treats. The District website reads:
"Samples will be a variety of themed drinks and treats - both alcoholic and non-alcoholic - in retail locations in the Czech Village and New Bohemia. Restaurants will be having themed specials throughout the weekend."
The Cider Stroll will run from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday the 13th, but there is no particular route that shoppers will have to follow. Lanterns will mark the participating stores and maps can be picked up at any of those locations. This year's participating businesses are:

For more details on the 2023 Cedar Rapids Cider Stroll, you can check the Facebook event page for updates HERE. The District will also host a Family Fright Night over at NewBo City Market that evening, complete with balloon art, face painting, a costume contest, and an outdoor movie (Goosebumps 2). That will run from 4:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Halloween Parade will take place the following weekend on Saturday, October 21st.
