Check Out Life-Sized Dinosaurs in Cedar Rapids This April
A fun, family-friendly event is headed back to Cedar Rapids! Dinosaur Adventure will make a stop at Hawkeye Downs in Cedar Rapids this April!
According to the official website, Dinosaur Adventure is "a one-of-a-kind exhibit featuring realistic, life-sized dinosaurs that come alive with their life-like movement and roars." The event has activities for all ages, like inflatables, fossil digging, a coloring station, Jurassic Jeeps, dinosaur rides, baby dinosaur meet-and-greets, and more! Activities for an additional cost include face painting, a mining area, and green screen photos.
Dinosaur Adventure will take over the Hawkeye Downs Expo Center in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, April 6th from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 7th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Last entry for the event is one hour before close each day, and tickets are non-refundable.
Tickets for Dinosaur Adventure are $36 for ages 2 through 12 and $26 for ages 13 and up. There are also "Adventure Pack" add-ons that can be purchased in advance. You can get your tickets online HERE.
Dinosaur Adventure will also make its way to the Quad Cities in April. It will be held at the QCCA Expo Center in Rock Island, Illinois on Saturday, April 13th and Sunday, April 14th. You can get more information on those tickets HERE.
