Local Grocer To Open First Stand-Alone Meat Market in Iowa

Well now the grocer will be extending its service by opening its first Iowa Fareway Meat Market, according to the Des Moines Register. It'll be a stand-alone 5,000-square-foot full-service meat market! The Des Moines Register reports that the new store will be located at 3720 Lincoln Way in Ames and that it will feature a "wide selection of meat in a meat case stretching 52-feet" along with expanded sections such as "seafood and sushi, artisan cheeses, wine, craft beer and other items."
It won't be long before you'll have a straight shot to your favorite Fareway section. The report states that construction on the new stand-alone location is set to begin in the next couple of months! Meat-lovers prepare yourselves...
