The Atlanta Falcons manhandled the Green Bay Packers 44-21 in the NFC Championship game, (Sorry Brain), and return to the Super Bowl for the second time. The last time Atlanta made the Super Bowl, was the 1999 Super Bowl. The Falcons had Iowa superstar Tim Dwight on their team and Dwight ran back a kickoff for a touchdown.

Iowa will once again be represented with the Falcons. Former Iowa players Jonathan Babineaux and Adrian Clayborn are both members of the Atlanta Falcons defense. Clayborn, in his 6th season in the NFL, plays defensive end for the Falcons. Clayborn has been placed on injured reserve after their playoff win against Seattle last week and will be out for the rest of the season. Babineaux is in his 12th season in the NFL and plays defensive tackle.
