Iowa Basketball Cracks The Preseason Top 25

2005. That was the last time the Iowa Hawkeyes were ranked in the preseason top 25 poll. Now they’re back in, after a nine year hiatus, landing at 25^th. Preseason polls mean about as much as a Kirk Ferentz press conference, in other words, not much. With that being said, isn’t it great to see Iowa in there? It’s a huge statement for a program that was one of the worst in the country just a few years ago. Plus, it takes our minds off of Iowa football for awhile…
