Iowa Among Top 10 Best States For Working Dads

With Father's Day around the corner, let's take a look at our hard working dads out there. Times have been tough recently withe the coronavirus pandemic. Dads everywhere have been trying to continue to provide for their families throughout these difficult times. It's been easier for some than others, and that may have something to do with the state they live in.

WalletHub compared the 50 states based on their "friendliness toward working fathers". They looked at metrics such as the average work day length for men, child-care costs, and the amount of mean in good health.

Iowa dads seemed to have it pretty good. We ranked No. 8 overall on the list, and even better, we scored No. 6 for economic and social well being and No. 5 in health. Working dads had it the best in Massachusetts and the worst in New Mexico.
