Interstate Improvements for Hiawatha Being Studied
Having recently moved (back) into the Hiawatha community, I use the Boyson Road/I-380 interchange often to get to work downtown. It's a simple commute for the most part, but I am all for anything that can make that commute easier.,
According to the Gazette, some improvements are set to be made to this and other interstate access points out of Hiawatha.
On November 16, the Iowa Department of Transportation will hold a meeting at Hiawatha City Hall, 101 Emmons St. from 5-6:30 p.m. to gauge public input on not only the existing interchange at Boyson Road but also the potential for a new one off of Tower Terrace Road.
If you cannot make the meeting, you are encouraged to call Catherine Cutler at (319) 364-0235 or contact her via e-mail at catherine.cutler@iowadot.us to learn more information and share your thoughts.
