According to CBS2, "On Saturday, just after 2 in the afternoon, Black Hawk County Deputies responded to a car accident on Interstate 380."

The driver of the vehicle was 22-year-old Kathryn Lockard. Lockard was moving from the outside lane to the inside lane when she hit another vehicle. That vehicle was driven by 39-year-old Beniface Marcellus.

Marcellus and his vehicle went into the ditch and struck a tree. Marcellus had to be taken to Mercy One Hospital in Waterloo with what the article described as "non-life threatening injuries."

Police are now investigating the crash and we will continue to follow this story and provide updates as soon as we learn more information.
