I'm a guy that requires at least 7 hours of sleep every night. I shoot for 8-9, but I settle for 7. I wake up early and don't take very many breaks throughout the day....I need my rest. But when I have those nights where I sleep for less then 7, I'm a mess.

I read a story the other day that researchers found that people who got just 16 minutes less sleep than usual, had a tough time focusing and processing information the next day. I was surprised that it came down to that little amount to change an entire day!

I find that I'm okay right away after a short sleep pattern, but I'm wrecked the following day. It's like it hits me 24 hours later.

I have no problem sleeping, I just need to get to bed earlier. My crazy schedule often gets in the way of me enjoying my full 8 hours. I hate it when that happens.
