There are plenty of good reasons someone might add a Ring camera on the outside of their house. It can be a great way to let you know when you've had a package dropped off or the delivery driver has arrived with your food. Ring cameras can help you feel a lot safer if someone rings your doorbell and you don't know who they are.

It's nice to be able to talk to them through the camera and not have to worry about opening your actual door. They can also help you alert your neighbors if you've lost a pet. My wife and I alerted our neighbors one of our cats got outside and was missing for quite some time. Thankfully, we had our neighbors on the lookout for her and we were able to bring her back inside.

Did you know you could possibly win $1 million by essentially doing nothing? You can just let your Ring camera do all of the work for you.

While it may be a long shot, you might want to start checking the footage your Ring camera picks up a little more often. The best part about this contest is you literally don't have to do anything, other than hope your Ring camera picks up a sighting of an... Extraterrestrial!

According to USA Today, "Ring, the company known for home security, will give $1 million to one person who can show proof of extraterrestrials from their Ring camera."

If you're anti-alien, now would probably be the time to do your best to give them a call and see if they can stop by. Heck, they don't even have to stop by, they can simply drive by. Just make sure your ring camera is pointed in the right direction.

Other Prizes You Can Win

If you don't believe you have a great chance of catching an alien on your Ring camera but you believe you have a really creative side, I have some good news for you! You still have a chance to win a really nice prize. If you can create the best fake alien sighting video with your Ring camera, you could win a $500 Amazon gift card.

Is this one of the greatest advertisement ideas you've ever heard of? Absolutely. It's all over the news, all over the internet, and Ring is basically taking zero risk on having to pay the million. It would be really fabulous if somehow, someway, someone could capture an alien sighting with their Ring camera and they actually had to pay up. This is one of the greatest advertisement tricks in the book!

Be safe and always remember...a tinfoil hat can help protect you from Extraterrestrials!
