HACAP Mobile Food Pantry Travels to Small Town Iowa
As we finally begin to enjoy some spring-like weather in Eastern Iowa this weekend, we look forward to more sunshine and daytime highs in the 70s by the middle of next week, according to the National Weather Service.
The warmer weather will be tempting us to venture out, but is exactly what Iowa should not be doing. We are told continue to avoid large crowds, wash your hands, cover your cough and stay home, especially if you’re sick.
It’s just not so easy if those stimulus checks still haven't arrived, or if they didn’t stretch as far as you had hoped. Thank the Lord that HACAP continues to host their mobile food pantry drives across eastern Iowa.
HACAP volunteers are true angels in our community. They spend hours packing, delivering and distributing free groceries to those in need during this time of crisis.
Here is the list where you will find the HACAP Mobile Food Pantry making stops over the next few weeks.

Their focus on small-town Iowa is especially appreciated by rural families whose finances have been devastated by the coronavirus.
This is more than just “Iowa nice“. This is real life saving stuff, and it makes us proud to be called Iowans.
