Freeze Watch Issued for Portions of Iowa
The National Weather Service in Des Moines has issued a FREEZE WATCH for portions of Southern and Central Iowa Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
Frost and freeze conditions could kill crops and other sensitive vegetation as the temps are expected to bottom-out in the mid-to-upper-20s.
The watch area includes the cities of Independence, Manchester, Dubuque, Vinton, Cedar Rapids, Anamosa, Maquoketa, Marengo, Iowa City, Tipton, Clinton, Muscatine, Davenport, among others.
As of Monday Morning, the FREEZE WATCH includes the counties:
