The legendary Elton John has been trying to embark on an epic "Farewell Yellow Brick Road" tour for several months now, but thanks to the COVID-19 pandemic he's had to postpone several dates, several times.

It's music to our ears that he's decided to resume that tour again. The North American leg begins on January 19, 2022, in New Orleans and a postponed date in Des Moines at the Wells Fargo Arena is rescheduled for March 26, 2022.

He said in the release: “I’ve been enjoying my time at home with the family while the world navigates its way through the COVID pandemic. But, I really miss being on the road and performing for my beloved fans in my Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour".

If you've held onto your tickets all this time, that's great. You will be personally notified with new event information and your tickets will still be valid. They are also still on sale, and you can learn more about that here from Hy-Vee Tix. We look forward to welcoming the legendary Sir Elton John back to Iowa. I was there in Moline to watch him a few years back and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. We can expect much of the same this time around.
