ELTON JOHN Coming to Moline Nov. 10

Elton John will be performing on Friday November 10th at the TaxSlayer Center in Moline. There are still tickets available for the concert at Ticketmaster.com 

I've seen Elton twice - at very different stages of his career. The first time was July 1976 at the Pontiac Silverdome, Detroit. The ticket cost $10. Elton emerged on stage as the Statue of Liberty, his arm stretched high holding a torch ablaze with showering sparks.

The next time was decades later in the mid 2000's in Madison, Wisconsin. He was just as spectacular then as he was in the 70's. Better, in fact, with his well-seasoned band and a set list featuring a wide variety of hits and deep cuts spanning his entire career.
