Eastern Iowa’s Favorite Direct Flight Destinations

It was reported earlier this week that in 2017, the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) saw a record number of passengers. Around 1.14 million people came through the doors and boarded flights last year.

The airport continues to upgrade facilities and add direct, nonstop flights to various destinations. One place I would like to see them include is Washington, D.C. to make it easier and more convenient for me to go visit my sister, but we asked you:

Some of you chose places that CID already offers nonstop travel to and from, including Dallas, Denver, Ft. Myers, Orlando, Phoenix and Las Vegas, but we got a wide variety of other responses, too, and here are they are. Feel free to share your choices below in a comment as well:

Friends on my personal page also suggested Alaska and Gulf Shores, Alabama! With winter in full swing, I think we are all in the mood to travel somewhere beautiful and warm and maybe someday we will be able to go straight there from our own hometown airport!
