Cedar Rapids From the Air in the Late 1950’s [VIDEO]

Cedar Rapids has seen a ton of changes in the last sixty years and it's especially noticeable from an airplane.

The video below was posted by Eric Jensen who notes it was taken in 1958 or 1959.

The first thing I noticed was how different the airport in Cedar Rapids looked at that time. There's open space galore in that area, as you would expect. The video also shows Cedar Rapids Washington High School, the area around Palisades-Kepler State Park, downtown and Kingston Stadium.
