The event will give guests a BIG look at what’s coming next to the new Compass Center, Cedar Crossing’s new arts and cultural center, and there’s a lot to look forward to.

Cedar Crossing plans to announce 16 additional shows during the event, bringing a wide variety of entertainment to the venue. The lineup includes something for just about every musical taste, with shows spanning multiple genres. And if music isn't enough, there will also be some exciting comedy shows included in the announcements. But before the new lineup is revealed, Wednesday’s event will feature two familiar faces from the world of music.

The announcement will be hosted by KC Bruner, a rising country artist and Swisher native, along with Maddie Poppe, Iowa's American Idol winner. Both artists will also take the stage for special live performances during the event.

That makes Wednesday more than just a press announcement. It's an opportunity for fans to hear live music, get a first look at what's coming to Cedar Crossing, and be among the first people to find out which artists and performers will be headed to the new Compass Center.

The Compass Center is designed to bring arts, culture and entertainment together, featuring traveling exhibitions, artists, immersive experiences and special programs. The goal is to give visitors new things to see, experience and explore throughout the year.

And for those already looking ahead to the newly announced shows, there is an added incentive to be a Charter Member. Charter Members will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets to the newly announced shows. Membership is free for those who want to join.

So, if you're looking for something to do on Wednesday afternoon, head to Kingston Yard at Cedar Crossing at 4 PM. KC Bruner and Maddie Poppe will help kick off the event, and by the end of the afternoon, you'll know about16 more exciting shows that Cedar Crossing has in store. It's a big FREE day for live entertainment at Cedar Crossing, and this is where the next chapter begins.
