Comedian Bert Kreischer was originally supposed to be in Cedar Rapids last year but, like everything else, the show was postponed due to the COVID pandemic. After several attempts at rescheduling, it looks like a new show date has been solidified! According to the VenuWorks press release, Kreischer is bringing his "The Berty Boy Relapse Tour" to the Paramount Theatre in Cedar Rapids on Thursday, October 14.

You probably recognize the shirtless comedian from his 5-episode mini-series and his specials like "Hey Big Boy" on Netflix, or from his podcasts like Bertcast. He's known for his "unique brand of comedy, which interweaves party-boy antics with humorous anecdotes about family and fatherhood." Kreischer is also currently filming a movie titled The Machine, which is "an adaptation of the viral story he told onstage about getting involved with the Russian mob while studying abroad in college." You can hear that story below:

That's just a glimpse at what we have to look forward to in October. If you had tickets for any of the previously scheduled dates, make sure you hang on to them because they are going to be good for this new date in October. If you need tickets or more information, you can contact the Paramount Theatre ticket office with questions by September 30, 2021.
