Another Iowa Man Set To Compete On ‘American Ninja Warrior’
We've got some athletes here in Iowa!
Last month, we told you about a cat-loving Iowa guy who dominated the American Ninja Warrior course. Now, another Iowan is taking on the challenge. KWWL reports that 38-year-old Scott Behrends from Cedar Falls is set to take the 'American Ninja Warrior' stage.
Behrends and his family own Ninja U, an obstacle training gym in Cedar Falls, so this kind of athleticism runs in the family. Behrends' sons, Jason and Ben, have even competed in American Ninja Warrior Junior! It's dad's time to shine now, though. The show, shot back in May, features Behrends competing in the Tacoma city finals. If he makes it through tonight, he'll move on to the national competition in Las Vegas where he'll have a shot at $1 million!
There's a watch party tonight that the public is welcome to join in on to show their support.
Get ready to have your adrenaline pumping, as the event airs tonight at 7 p.m. on NBC. Best of luck to our Iowa ninja!
