A judge has pushed back the start date for the trial involving former Bachelor star Chris Soules, who is accused of leaving the scene of a fatal accident. Soules waived his right to a speedy trial last month. His trial was originally supposed to begin July 19th.

Soules' defense team made the request so they could have more time to prepare for trial. A new timetable for pretrial hearings and the trial itself will be set at a later date.

Soules is charged with leaving the scene of an accident in which he rear-ended a tractor on April 24th. The driver of the tractor, 66-year-old Kenneth Moser, died from his injuries. Soules has pleaded not guilty.
