On Tuesday, February 16 --- the 25th anniversary of the theatrical release of Happy Gilmore --- Adam Sandler hit the links and attempted his famous "Happy Gilmore Drive' from the tee.

He also had a message for his nemesis, Shooter McGavin:

Shooter McGavin, actor Christopher McDonald, saw 'Happy's' video and replied with this gem:

Just don't try to reach the green from that distance, Shooter.

Adam Sandler has appeared in over 60 films, but one of his first starring roles was in 'Happy Gilmore.' He stars as the title character, a former hockey player who discovers that he has some skills on the golf course. He joins the pro golf tour to win some money to save his grandmother’s house.

The fight scene between Bob Barker and Sandler (below) won the MTV Movie + Video Award for "Best Fight" in 1996. It was also Julie Bowen's first starring role in a film.
