A Look Back At My Favorite “Live On Letterman” Gigs As Colbert Takes Over on The Late Show Tonight [VIDEO]

Stephen Colbert will premiere his new Late Show tonight on CBS2. Three and a half months ago, David Letterman signed off for the last time. I blogged about it in May. One of Colbert's first musical guests this week will be Toby Keith. A far cry from some of the legendary performances Dave served up over the years. Here's my Top 10 minus 6 list:

Schumer, Biden, Clooney and Johanssen are names on the roster this week. Will this new show have a political angle like "The Colbert Report?" We'll see. More importantly, will Colbert do a music series like Letterman did [and Kimmel does]?
