Waterloo Indie Film BROS Premieres This Week
Have you heard about "BROS"?
It's a new independent movie filmed in Waterloo, IA that will be released tomorrow November 8 with a special screening at the Marcus Theatre in the movie's hometown, followed by a Thursday night premiere at the Marcus (Wehrenberg) Theater Galaxy 16 Cine on Center Point Road in Cedar Rapids.
Produced and directed by Don Tjernagel, the movie tells the story of two bar-hopping guys in their late 20's trying to figure out life in a small Midwest town. Hoping to understand their place and purpose in a gritty, blue-collar hometown, these two millennials' find themselves facing life-changing decisions about work and relationships.
The film's Associate Producer Landon Sheetz will be our guest tomorrow on the KRNA Morning Show. We'll go behind the scenes and get the backstory on how this movie came to be...and get an idea of what the expectations and hopes are for its success.
