These past few weeks, we've told you about some of the best and biggest holiday light displays here in Iowa. There's Jolly Holiday Lights at Adventureland, the Mount Pleasant Festival of LightsHoliday Lights at the Lake in Coralville, and Christmas Acres in Le Mars. Another one you may want to check out this holiday season is over in Ames!

Every year, Reiman Gardens at 1407 University Blvd in Ames puts on their Winter Wonderscape Holiday Light Show. The popular event features "dazzling light installations throughout 17-acres of outdoor gardens," including tunnels, giant disco balls, a mushroom forest, and more!

The 2022 Winter Wonderscape Holiday Light Show will take place Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays in December from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The website says to purchase your tickets early, because some of the more popular time slots sell out quickly.  If you want to avoid larger crowds, they recommend coming around 7 p.m.

In addition to the amazing light display, there will also be live music in the Garden Room on select nights, snacks and hot chocolate for sale, and a gift shop with LED wands, headbands, roses, and more (prices range from $1 to $7).

Tickets for the Winter Wonderscape Holiday Light Display must be purchased online in advance HERE. It's $13 for adults, $7 for ages 2 to 12, and free for ages 2 and under. If you're Reiman Gardens member or an ISU student, you can save $2 on your ticket.

If you want to do something totally different this holiday season, Iowa is also home to a holiday-themed haunted attraction! You can read more about Krampus HERE.
