Tyler Cook's name didn't show up in any mock drafts heading into last week's NBA Draft so it wasn't a huge surprise that the former Iowa Hawkeye didn't hear his name called out by an NBA team. But plenty of good players have gone on to careers in the league and not heard their name announced. There are other routes to take.

Cook has signed a partially guaranteed contract with the Denver Nuggets. This is an especially positive development for Cook since he is unable to participate in the Las Vegas summer league due to an ankle injury. Denver thinks enough of Cook already to give him a chance. With the Nuggets he's heading to one of the best teams in the Western Conference. But is their room for him?

Denver has quite a few power forwards on their roster already, including last year's first-round pick Michael Porter Jr. It might be a long shot, but Cook has the potential to land with Denver or any other NBA team. All he needs is a chance.
