The newly-named Alliant Energy Power House has announced the rescheduling of Blue Oyster Cult.

Originally scheduled to perform on Tuesday December 29, the band's new date pushes the show to Friday August 13, 2021.

Current ticket holders should hold onto their tickets and they will be honored for the new date – so no additional action is needed. Guests should contact the Alliant Energy Power House ticket office with questions by January 18th.  Additional information can be found on the CREventsLive.com website.

The question on the minds of many is whether the show was rescheduled due to low ticket sales, weather concerns, or simply the decision to wait out until the Covid-19 virus is brought under control.

Perhaps the most correct answer is "all of the above"  With a vaccine now in the pipeline, artists and fans should be feeling much more confident to return to live music venues, restaurants and travel by the summer of '21.
