If you love mac & cheese as much as I do (which is a LOT), then you may want to make your way over to Dubuque tomorrow evening! Mac & Cheese Fest Dubuque will be happening at the Grand River Center on May 2nd from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.! It's two glorious hours of beer and cheese that serves as a fundraiser for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital. The description reads:

"Foodies and craft beer lovers unite to taste more than 20 varieties of mac &cheese paired with over 50 craft beers. It's going to be a Gouda Time!"

This is actually the third year for the annual event, which means we have a lot of mac & cheese lovers here in Eastern Iowa. Some of the participating restaurants include Stone Cliff Winery, Hy-Vee, Fat Tuesday's, McNally's Gourmet Mac, and one of my favorite places to order mac & cheese... Big Grove Brewery!

General admission tickets cost $35, but there is also a VIP package that includes a koozie, a drawstring swag bag, a t-shirt, and an early access VIP hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.! That one will run you $55. You can get your tickets in advance HERE.

I'll unfortunately have to miss the event because I'll be in Minneapolis, but you go, make sure you take pictures and send them to me! :)
